Shehryar Mushir (Founder and Creative Director)
I started VoiceBox because I was tired of seeing so many talented artists around me with nowhere to go. No platform, no support, nothing. I wanted to build something real, a space where artists could perform, connect, and actually get noticed. Not just open mics for the sake of it, but something that pushes people into the industry. VoiceBox is about giving artists a shot, not just a stage.
Shahzain Zuberi (Head of Logistics)
I’m Shahzain, Head of Logistics at VoiceBox. Shehryar is a very close friend of mine and he asked me to join the team. Since then, I’ve been the guy making sure everything runs smoothly, handling problems as they come, and keeping the vibe going without letting the stress show. I’m also a DJ who plays house music, so being surrounded by energy, sound, and good chaos just fits. I’m calm under pressure, always on the move, and always ready to make sure things go right.
Wareesha Naeem (Head of Sponsorships & Outreach)
I joined VoiceBox because I believe in supporting creativity and artists of all kinds. All artists should be supported, no matter how big or small. VoiceBox is a great platform for that, and I can’t wait to see it grow!
Zareena Umair (Head of Social Media and Marketing)
For me, VoiceBox is a second home where I can express my ideas openly without fear of judgement. Music has always been an essential part of my life, whether it be sharing wired headphones with my brother or listening to ghazals with my father in the car. Music is a huge part of culture, and I want other kids to grow up listening to mainstream music from their hometown.
